Re: Quick question for Video-Cellar |
I just bought "Madmen of Mandoras" and "They Saved Hitler's Brain" that were together in a boxed set with other Crown National films. I watched them back-to-back a few days ago to compare and the new footage in "Brain" did not match up at all with the rest of the film, so much so that I think I would have been able to tell even if I had never seen "Madmen". I couldn't be sure if they took out any footage from "Madmen" to make "Brain", but if they did, it wasn't much. Other filmakers also did this with films, "Godzilla, King Of The Monsters" being a prime example. Al Adamson also did this fairly often with films such as "Vampire Men Of The Lost Planet" aka "Horror Of The Blood Monsters".

Re: Quick question for Video-Cellar |
It's an interesting and complex issue. I understand that none of the Donny and Marie Osmond work is in the public domain, but due to various paperwork snafus, the actual human people Donny and Marie Osmond are in no way protected by law. If you can get to them through their considerable security (Mormon attack mutants!), you can do with them as you will, with no penalties under law. That Marie is still pretty hot, even though she's old and crazy and occasionally a big fat pig. ROWR!!!!
